Coming Soon

We're honored to help develop communities and build homes that people are proud to call their own. No cookie-cutter condos or shoe-box sized apartments here! Just the most exciting and inspiring projects we can dream up. And we know that the only way to do this is by continually working with the most inspiring designers, architects and planners the world has to offer. Just another way we strive to leave a positive footprint.

Hotel El Oasis, Mexico

Located in Zihuatanejo Bay on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, El Oasis Hotel is just steps to Playa La Ropa, the areas largest beach and home to the most exclusive hotel zone in Zihuatanejo. With its calm waters along the stretch of 1.3 km. sandy beach, this area is the destination of choice for visitors seeking relaxation on their Mexican beach vacation. This boutique hotel will have 40 units clustered around the central pool with lush landscaping and a relaxed ambience, creating as the name suggest, an oasis in the midst of a magical setting. Guests can find an array of dining options within minutes of the hotel, or can take advantage of their own ensuite kitchenette.

Luis Trevino Perezgil, a highly respected local architect, has designed El Oasis to incorporate a Mexican style cultural authenticity that blends attractively into the local community. Design features include a palapa roof on the lobby, ceramic tiles, stonework and natural colors integrating the hotel into the landscape.

Construction is expected to begin in the latter part of 2010.

Katsura, South Surrey, B.C.

Katsura is a master planned, environmentally friendly community nestled within the pastoral slopes of Grandview Heights in South Surrey, British Columbia. A vibrant, eco-smart community with heart and conscience designed, in harmony with nature. Katsura stands to become one of the first communities built according to the progressive environmental principles of the newly developed LEED for Neighborhood Development guidelines.

This is far from a typical suburban subdivision, with a wide range of home styles designed to accommodate all types of families and individuals, from seniors to large families. All streets end on open space amenities with beautiful vistas of the North Shore Mountains. Bike paths and walkways with the many pocket parks, a new state of the art elementary school, a variety of playing fields, and 15 acres of nature parks including a beautiful creek interconnect the unique housing clusters. In keeping with Treegroup’s pledge to leave a positive human footprint, significant stands of original trees will be preserved throughout the neighborhood.

Katsura is expected to break ground in the fall of 2010.

Beechwood, Surrey, B.C.

The Beechwood is located on a brand-new street with wide, tree-lined boulevards and small shops and services nearby. It is also conveniently located near Highway No. 1, the Fraser Highway, and close to the major shopping areas in Willowbrook and Cloverdale.

In keeping with Treegroup’s earth-friendly and healthy-living development philosophy, The Beechwood was designed to integrate with the green infrastructure present in this award winning neighborhood. Residents can walk and cycle along the greenways and paths to schools, parks, community centres and services. Rainwater is collected on landscaped areas and slowly released into the ground through rain gardens and swales to make sure the creeks and watercourses in the neighborhood remain healthy habitats for the fish and wildlife that abound in the many natural areas.

Beechwood is nearing final development approval and is expected to break ground in 2010.

Morgan Creek Business Park, South Surrey, B.C.

The newest addition to Treegroup’s business/industrial land portfolio is a major land consolidation for a business park development along Highway 99 in South Surrey. Plans have been prepared, and approvals are in process, for a comprehensively designed, 22-acre (12 properties) employment/business park including: 2 mixed-use residential office towers (200 residential units); approximately 500,000 square feet of business park uses (with an autoplex option); and a warehouse/storage facility.

The Morgan Creek Business Park will also be Surrey's first eco-business park, implemented with environmentally sustainable initiatives such as water sensitive urban design (i.e., onsite storm water treatment), energy-efficient street lighting systems, green power (geothermal, solar or air-heat exchange), native planting, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified buildings. The development will also generate approximately 2,500 jobs once complete.

The project has excellent highway exposure and is located within walking distance of the new Grandview Corners, shopping area, which features Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Superstore and other large-format retailers.

Approvals are expected to be secured for the first phase of this project in 2010.
