Norm is one of the founding partners of Treegroup Developments Corp., (formerly known as Beech Developments Ltd. and Vermillion Properties). He has been active in the land development and construction industry in Greater Vancouver and Northwest Washington State for over 30 years. As the owner and developer of more than 50 successful development projects with a total value of more than $300 million, Norm has forged a multitude of long term partnerships and relationships in all facets of the land development industry. Projects include multi-family developments, commercial, industrial, as well as single family subdivisions and homes. From project conception to completion, Norm’s vision and dedication to the economic sustainability of the Treegroup of Companies, along with his devotion to environmental and social responsibility, leads Treegroup to its success. 
Derek is one of the two founding partners of Treegroup Developments Corporation with over 25 years senior management experience in the construction and transportation fields. In addition to holding several management positions with Fortune 500 corporations, Derek was the owner of a land development and construction company that specialized in single family homes in the Vancouver area. A lifelong resident of Vancouver, Derek is passionate about building a globally responsible company staffed with dedicated associates who share his commitment to integrity and the environment. In fact, Derek's passion for environmental responsibility helped fuel his desire to found and develop one of Vancouver's first commercial, industrial and multi-family recycling service companies in 1990. Much of this overall business philosophy has its roots in Derek's extensive background in team sports and coaching. He believes anything is possible through positive teamwork and the dedication and commitment to a collective goal. Derek is married with three sons and, as an active volunteer in the local sports community, has been giving back to his community for over 30 years. He is also an enthusiastic hockey player and coach, and enjoys playing golf.
Bert has worked in both the private and public sectors as a Chartered Accountant for over 30 years and brings a wealth of financial reporting expertise to Treegroup. Prior to joining Treegroup he was a partner at K.P.M.G., one of Canada’s largest public accounting firms, and was also the Corporate Controller for Greer Shipping Ltd. where he oversaw $120 million in annual trust and corporate expenditures. He is also active in several not for profit organizations focusing on local and national issues as well as serving as chairperson and a board member for various religious, social and political organizations. Bert’s commitments to social and environmental issues positively affect the overall quality of life for Treegroup communities.
Bruce joined the Treegroup in 2007 and brings to the team a diverse background in commercial real estate finance and development. Bruce has spent over 30 years as a commercial real estate lender of private and institutional capital, and VP Finance for an established developer of residential, commercial and recreational property in BC. Bruce is a graduate of UBC’s Faculty of Commerce in Urban Land Economics, and is responsible for the debt and equity financing of Treegroup projects and assists the Chairman and President with the development activities. Integrity, teamwork, accountability and results are core values for Bruce, which he found are reinforced by the partners of the Treegroup. He is a lifelong resident of Greater Vancouver, 20 of those years in North Vancouver where he lives with his wife of 29 years and his two daughters.
A licensed realtor since 1976, Rod has over 30 years of real estate sales and marketing experience in the pre-sell and re-sale of multi-family and single family homes. Considered an expert in the Richmond and South Surrey regions of the Lower Mainland, Rod has assembled and marketed several successful projects for Treegroup and their associates. His experience includes both commercial and residential properties. Besides being an avid fisherman and golf enthusiast, Rod is married, has a grown daughter and supports several community sports and youth organizations.
As a senior construction manager, Ron has over 30 years experience overseeing the development and construction of numerous residential and commercial projects. A third generation Vancouverite and current resident of Vancouver, Ron began his career in Edmonton with Nu-West Developments Corp. then returned back to Vancouver to gain experience in the commercial sector of the industry. An opportunity took Ron to Kobe, Japan to manage, build and design Canadian styled wood framed homes following the catastrophic earthquake in 1995. His experience covers every aspect of the development and construction process from drafting, permitting, estimating, administration to project scheduling, budget control and field supervision. Some notable companies he has worked with in addition to Treegroup, include Stuart Olson Construction and Palladium Development Corporation (now Citimark). Ron holds Diplomas in Building Technology from BCIT and Construction Management from Douglas College. He compliments his management skills with his personal passion for economics, residential design, interior design and carpentry. In his spare time, he enjoys time with his two daughters, mentoring others, travel, cooking, playing golf, and is an avid hockey and sports fan.
